One suspect, who was an illegal alien, was taken into custody at the scene and charged with capital murder. He was subsequently sentenced to death. On April 26th, 2015, the subject committed suicide by hanging himself in his prison cell.
Officer Golden had served with the Huntsville Police Department for three years, and was assigned to the West Precinct. He is survived by his wife and two children.
Continue to keep watch over your loved ones. So many lives destroyed by an individual that should never have been in this country to begin with. My son was also killed by an illegal alien, but in our case there was no trial as this person was also killed and saved us that grief. Daniel is a true hero and heroes never die, he will never be forgotten.
